Local craftsman donates handmade piece to benefit FJBJ restoration efforts
Coming soon!
Donated by local master craftsman Steve Arnold, this stunning spice cabinet will be raffled by FJBJ in early 2023 to raise funds that will go directly towards the restoration of the Barker House.
This cabinet is made of solid walnut and highly figured walnut veneer in the Queen Anne style of the mid 1700s. Constructed with mortise and tenon joinery, the cabinet also features hand cut dovetails and tombstone arches on the doors. Only the well-to-do could afford a piece like this in the 18th century!
